Description of specimen

At least two large plants along the fence line in the South corner of the property. Plants are currently in bloom.

Commentary

Thanks for your report. This does appear to be English (cherry) laurel. Although it is spreading and can be a pest west of the Cascades, it is not on the regulated noxious weed list, meaning it can still be legally bought and sold in Oregon. For more info on Oregon Noxious Weeds, see:
