Description of specimen

There are numerous large and small nutria in the pond and creek areas which I’ve seen both swimming in the water and eating the vegetation on the banks.

Location

There is a wetlands area and pond directly north of our apartment building. The wetlands, creek, and pond are surrounded by a cyclone wire fence which runs along the asphalt walking trail.
