The plants were vibrant green and leafy, I used google lens to help identify because my dog seemed keen on it

Thanks for the report. It is indeed poison hemlock and is fatal if eaten. Unfortunately, it is becoming a very successful year for poison hemlock. We are seeing it everywhere.
