Description of specimen

Two clumps of Japanese, knotweed, growing close in proximity in the gravel bar along the Willamette river.

This is a tricky weed to manage. Consider reaching out to your local Soil & Water Conservation District for technical advice.

Location

I was taking one of the paths from Keizer Rapids Park out to the river. The Japanese knotweed was maybe 15 feet up from the river and I saw at least two clumps growing in the gravel bar.
