Description of specimen

Both times that I recently spotted the Snapping turtle it was swimming just under the surface of the water and is approximately 2 feet in length. In the water the color of the shell appears grayish-green and the feet, tail and head are large. Its appearance closely matches the photo on the post card that I received.
