Red elderberry (Sambucus racemosa) on Jun 1, 2026

Submitter does not have a specimen

Description of specimen

This tree/bush is extremely fast growing, seemingly invasive. It was cut down to the ground in April and is now at least 8th tall. It has never flowered but it’s often cut back due to its size and growing nature. Tried to dig it out but that didn’t successfully kill it.
