Submitter does not have a specimen

A few days ago, I saw what I believe to be an emerald ash borer on a stack of firewood we recently cut. The boring pattern was prevalent in the wood we chopped as well.

Avatar of commenter Thank you for your report! There are a number of iridescent green look-alike beetles in Oregon that are not pests. I am attaching a link to the ODF EAB webpage with some photos of other Oregon insects that could be mistaken for EAB
