Hello. We were camping in the “Cedar” spot at the Horse Creek Lodge private campground in McKenzie Bridge. In the morning of July 22nd while
Packing up, we spotted a peculiar beetle on our black stove. It had a mostly black torso with small white spots, almost like glittering. It also had two long antenna with alternating black and white stripes. After reviewing images, I suspect it’s an Asian Longhorned Beetle. Captured a photo.

Avatar of commenter Thank you for your report! The "orange-peel" texture of the wing covers makes me confident that this is our native White-spotted Sawyer, Monochamus scutellatus. ALB is smooth and shiny like patent leather. Otherwise a very close look-alike. Thanks for shooting a good photo!
