Description of specimen

Currently, the knotweek is growing rapidly in pieces in the backyard of the infill house. The yard was disturbed by construction equipment. At this, point the rhizomes has been sliced, mixed and redistributed across the backyard, that has a full sun exposure. I also discovered the plant throughout he backyard of the rental house as well.

In other areas of the neighborhood, knotweed has been allowed to grow into small groves.

Commentary

I will continue to control my small infestation.

My question is, can anything be done to motivate the land owners to manage this infestation?
Perhaps a letter from the state or city? The real estate agent has yet to show any regard for the property.
The infill developer's, goal is to finish this tiny 15' x 70' house, and sell it quickly, and get
away from the site.

It doesn't matter how well I manage my property, if the rhizomes of a large infestation keep growing
into my yard. Is there anything the city or state can do to help?

Hi, Andrea. I apologize for not responding sooner. I've gone into more depth in my email responding to your Dad's email from a couple weeks ago. I'll leave you my email address here, though, just in case.
