Commentary
Dear Doug,
Thanks so much for this false brome report. False brome is spreading quite rapidly in that area, and it is really valuable to get reports from concerned citizen scientists on their observations to help track its spread. I will forward this report to the Middle Fork Willamette Watershed Council and to Willamalane Parks and Rec to find out if they are able to respond in some way. In some cases a prudent and easy step to take is simply to remove the seed heads to prevent additional spread.
along the paved bike path downstream from Clearwater Park and on unpaved side paths heading toward the river.
