Cara,

I want to thank you for reporting the orange hawkweed to the Oregon Invasive Species Hotline. As you know we have been working extensively in your area to control this weed over the last two seasons. We appreciate your diligence in identifying this invader. We are planning additional treatments later this summer and would like to treat your infestation at that time.

The herbicide we use is registered as safe for use in your area. We do ask that you keep pets and children out of the area during application and until the spray has dried. Once dried, the area is safe for re-entry.

We still have your permission slip on file from last season, so we need no additional documentation from you at this time. We will provide a courtesy call to you before initiating treatments.

Thanks again to both you and Troy for your continued support and participation in our eradication effort. All the best,

Sam
