Giant Knotweed (Fallopia sachalinense) on Jul 18, 2012

Originally reported as Japanese Knotweed (Fallopia japonica)

Description of specimen

You all treated this area I think two years ago and I noticed a small patch returning this year. You can access it from my property at 3060 NW Cornell, but it is actually on my neighbors property on NW Fairfax. I took a walk up there a couple of weeks ago and noticed more knotweed growing in the front of the house on fairfax.

Commentary

Hi, Gloria. Thanks for checking in. Yes, that site has been combined with a couple more sites upstream over the last 2 years. There are some issues with plants being cut down before we can treat them, as well as it just being a very persistent plant. We'll be back again this year, too!
