Description of specimen

There is pokeweed growing in the easement/parking strip at two nearby locations: approximately 37 NE 47th Ave & on E. Burnside between 44th and 47th (south side of street).

There is also a large plant(s) of Old Man's Beard/Traveler's Joy growing in the backyard of 102 NE 45th Ave.

Commentary

Hi, Jodi. Thanks for your email. We'll make a note of the pokeweed, and try to contact the owner. The clematis, though, is currently outside our ability to manage. We certainly encourage folks to talk with their neighbors, though, about which plants are invasive and why they are of concern.
