Description of specimen

Crayfish are reddish brown with NO rust spot on carapace and NO spot on claws. Crayfish had small bumps on claws and body.

Commentary

None

Remedy

Red Swamp Crayfish is an Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife Prohibited Species, meaning they "may not be imported, possessed, sold, purchased, exchanged or transported in the state".

Location

Three Procambarus clarkii were caught in traps at the south end of First Lake in Albany Oregon.
