Will I ever be able to control this? I believe I got it when I bought some soil six years ago.

Hi, Joye. Thanks for your email. Yes, horsetail is a tough one. It likes wet conditions, and it sometimes feels like no amount of pulling is enough to keep it managed. The effective herbicides are particularly nasty, so I don't feel I can recommend them. The best advice from around here is 'keep at it.' I'm sorry not to have better news for you.
