I found some ivy with a pretty good infestation of what appeared to be spittle bugs (Cercopidae). I noted what appeared to be some type of disease on the ivy associated with the insects. I have some pictures of the damage (disease?) and the spittle bugs directly feeding on the ivy. I can forward the location information with permission of my client, if you are interested.

Thank you for your report. It is always great to see folks like yourself, taking an active role in managing invasive species. I have shared your report with the Oregon Department of Agriculture's biological control program. If you have photos of the plant damage, please feel free to email those to me directly (weeds@conservationdistrict.org) and I will be sure to share them as well. The photos may prove useful to the state biocontrol specialist. Thanks and have a great day,
