Commentary

Brandon, is the photo you provided an actual photo you took, or is it a picture from a website? The reason I ask is that there is a native beetle in Oregon that looks a lot like the invasive Asian longhorned beetle (the banded alder borer) - http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.science.oregonstate.edu/bpp/insect_clinic/images/Banded%2520Alder%2520Borer.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.science.oregonstate.edu/bpp/insect_clinic/commonsubmissions.htm&h=385&w=545&sz=201&tbnid=PCSmIRROqqgl4M:&tbnh=90&tbnw=127&zoom=1&usg=__8EFosDv8cgf5doSCYd2aSTacU-E=&docid=XwNfSC5PNzsYPM&sa=X&ei=ZJn2UbusCbHyigKK94GoBw&ved=0CEQQ9QEwBg&dur=2986
