Description of specimen

I call it clematis but perhaps it is kudzu. There is also English ivy and a few butterfly bushes.

Thanks for your report. Kudzu is a very high priority species for early detection. Someone will try to take a look at that site to confirm the actual identification. In the mean time, it would be very helpful if you could submit a photo of the plant in question. If possible, could you email me a digital photo to tania.siemens@oregonstate.edu?

We hope you will keep on reporting! By looking for and reporting some of the less abundant, but equally as aggressive, invasive species, we can control them before they become tomorrow’s Scotch broom, English Ivy, or even knotweed.
