Description of specimen

I believe we have collected Orconectes virilis from the pond. One large adult and several juveniles. We'll have the live adult at the Oregon State Fair at the Oregon Dept. of Agriculture booth.

Commentary

Photos were reviewed by Sam Chan and Bill Gerth, Senior Faculty Research Assistant, OSU Department of Fisheries & Wildlife. ID determined to be the native signal crayfish.
