Commentary

Dear Bradney,

Thank you for reporting water primrose willow to the hotline. Water primrose willow is an aggressive aquatic invasive plant that is causing problems in many water ways in Oregon. Its population is expanding and it is important to try to prevent its spread. I will share your report with local invasive species managers at the City of Eugene. I am sure they will be very glad to learn of your report so they can incorporate this into their management strategy for this and other aquatic invasive plants. Thanks for your report, please keep on reporting invasive species that you find.

Sincerely,

Tania
