Commentary

Is there any good way to control the thislte? I live off of the main enterance road above the park and it has started to spread into are horse fiels and we have been spraying it with crossbow but it just has been getting worse each year.

Jacque, thanks for your report on thistle and scotch broom, and for your efforts to date in attempting to control these very aggressive, invasive species. For information about controlling thistle, please see this link http://attra.ncat.org/attra-pub/thistlecontrol.html.

In addition, a call to your soil and water conservation district (link above) would provide some very useful information to help you in your quest to eradicate this species.

Thanks again for your report!
