Description of specimen

The crawfish were about 5" long, had narrow claws and were covered with protruding red spots.

Commentary

None

Remedy

Red Swamp Crayfish is an Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife Prohibited Species, meaning they "may not be imported, possessed, sold, purchased, exchanged or transported in the state".

Location

Found a handful of Red Swamp Crawfish in commonwealth lake. The specimens were removed, cooked and eaten.
