Description of specimen

Borage Family. Herbaceous Perennial about waist high but taller where intertwined with shrubs. May have been originally planted along road, other non-natives were as well. At this point in time has died down to clusters of large leaves just above ground level.

Thanks for taking the time to submit this report. From the photos, this appears to be Evergreen bugloss (Pentaglottis sempervirens). This is a species that we have been inquiring about region-wide. We are currently tracking an infestation in and around Sandy, and have sought distribution information from folks at the regional level. So this location is noteworthy. This will help with our regional assessment of whether or not to target this species. I'll keep you posted as information develops. Thanks again.
