Dear Doug,
Thanks for reporting meadow knapweed. I will forward this report to a weed coordinator for the BLM. You are right that it should be controlled before any logging operation.
In section 25, T29S, R03W, along BLM road 29-3-25. The native forest adjacent to this road is planned for clearcutting by BLM. The soil disturbance, canopy removal, and log trucks could really spread this small population far and wide.
