Description of specimen

multiple large growths of yellow flag iris in the middle of large section of newly planted (last 3-4) native plants. It is close to the river at the new park just built in front of the Center for Health and Healing.

Commentary

Hi, Darcy. Thanks for the report. Sadly, yellow-flag is outside our ability to manage on any kind of basis. The best approach, at this stage, is really to strike up conversations with owners or employees and find out their current goals. Often folks with yellow-flag take the trouble to clip & bag seedheads after flowering. It'd be interesting to know if that's the case here.
