Description of specimen

A strange and seemingly very vigorous vine with tendrils and broad leaves, growing into the shrubs and trees along the trail. Part of what I think is the same plant had some spiny, oblong-looking fruit hanging from it. One very long part of the vine had little white flowers poking up on long stems at intervals along this prostrate part of the vine. I'm not sure if this is invasive or it if could engulf the streamside native plants, but it looked so strange and vigorous, with lots of tendrils, so I thought I should alert you.
