Julie, a change in staff at the OSU Insect Lab resulted in the identification of the bug photo you submitted getting "lost" in an email box. Please accept my apologies. The photo of the bug you submitted is a native, non-destructive, cerambycid, Ortholeptura valida (LeConte). Larvae feed on various non-pine conifers.
