Description of specimen

A single plant, about 4 ft, in bloom overhanging the ditch. Japanese Knotweed.

Thanks again for taking the time to report this infestation of knotweed to the Oregon Invasive Species Hotline. I have shared your report with Sarah Hamilton, our WeedWise Specialist working in the area. Oregon State University's Solve Pest Problems page has some great information about how to get rid of knotweeds Solve Pest Problems

This is a tricky weed to manage. Consider reaching out to your local Soil & Water Conservation District for technical advice.

Location

This sighting is on the west side of Ten Eck Road across from a chiropractic office in an area of private residences. Driving from Sandy its on the left side of Ten Eck just past the switchback on the road. It's a smaller specimen, but can be seen from the road shoulder, just above the roadside ditch. It is currently in bloom.
