Thanks for submitting Jessica. I'm not certain how much false brome is around the Applegate Valley, however it is established along the Illinois River, and some stretches of the Rogue unfortunately. If local control is feasible, you may decide to put resources towards small populations.
I have found 2 new populations of Brachypodium sylvaticum on USFS lands on the Siskiyou Mountains Ranger District. Both populations are right along a the Applegate River (accessible via Upper Applegate Road). The first population I discovered exists under the McKee Bridge. The site is somewhat shaded and exists both along a small canal that runs near the park and along the river. This population is dense and has thousands of well developed individuals. The second population is behind the Star Ranger Station (6941 Upper Applegate Road Jacksonville Oregon 97405) along the Applegate River. This population is much smaller, only about 30 individuals or so.
