Description of specimen

This was quite clearly P. clarkii. It is perhaps already well known that this species is in Fern Ridge reservoir, but I could not find this listed so I wanted to report it just in case.

Remedy

Red Swamp Crayfish is an Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife Prohibited Species, meaning they "may not be imported, possessed, sold, purchased, exchanged or transported in the state".

Location

On 27 Sep 16 observed a live specimen observed in the water at the boat ramp at Eugene Yacht Club at Richardson Point, Fern Ridge Reservoir
