Description of specimen

Specimen was black and "rusty" in color and seemed to only have one front claw. It was slowly moving upstream.

Commentary

Remedy

Signal Crayfish is Oregon's native crayfish, although it is considered invasive in Crater Lake and in Europe.

Location

Found this specimen in Dunawi creek, under the bridge on Knollbrook Place, Corvallis, OR on 28 September 2016 (around 7pm).
