Description of specimen

There were three plants found within about 100 meters area.

LCC instructor Susie Holmes (botany and fungal biology) is aware of much more than three plants in this stand. She has applied for grants to fund removal, which are unsuccessful so far.

Commentary

Thank you for submitting this report, Molly. I hope that by making it part of this public database we can help raise more awareness and support some action. I agree it would be valuable to engage the students in LCC as part of a learning and removal effort. I would be happy to help support an event that you suggest - that engages students in learning and also helps to remove an invasive species that is compromising the educational forest behind LCC.
