Commentary

Hello and thank you for your report! While this is a scarab beetle with some similar coloring to Japanese Beetle, this beetle is very fuzzy, so it is not a JB, which only has small white tufts of hair along its sides. It might be a native species called "little bear", Paracotalpa granicollis.
