Oregon State University's Solve Pest Problems page has some great information about how to get rid of knotweeds Solve Pest Problems
This is a tricky weed to manage. Consider reaching out to your local Soil & Water Conservation District for technical advice.
Location
Japanese Knotweed. Quite alot of it, actually, on the tail end of Multnomah Blvd, parallel to I-5, just behind the Play & Chase Doggie Daycare. See: Multnomah & Evans crossroads. Also some coming up in my apartment complex nearby, 7934 SW Barbur Blvd.
I'm also interested in reporting all noxious weeds within my watershed (Stephens Creek). I walk the watershed regularly and see alot of invasives, including: purple loosestrife, Tansy Ragweed, Italian Arum, Garlic Mustard, Herb Robert, clematis, blackberry, etc.
