Description of specimen

2 yellow flowering plants that look like gorse to me. Seen from highway 58 as travelled SW through Pleasant Hill. Couldn’t get close enough to examine closely (there was water in the ditch) but they looked spiky and the flowers were like gorse flowers.

Location

Pleasant Hill, OR. 43 deg 57” 9’ North. 122 deg 53” 40’ West. In ditch/ highway 58 right of way (on SW side) between MP 6 and MP 7. Saw 2 plants suspect of being gorse. Adjacent house’s yard has flagpole with USA and U of Oregon flags flying.
