Land Plants - invasive

Spurge Laurel (Daphne laureola) on Apr 18, 2018

Submitter does not have a specimen

Description of specimen

Infestation is 20’ x 30’ with 75% cover. Under cherry and blue spruce canopy at intersection of park chip trails. Immature fruits forming—quick action needed!!

Commentary

Will this be controlled? I remember seeing this years ago and it was a much smaller infestation (but forgot to report!!). Seasonal cutting by maintenance workers and seeding events have caused a lot of spread!! NOTE: There are also a couple much smaller plants near the compost facility on SE Oak.
