Description of specimen

The plant was about 1' tall, unmistakable in appearance with a zigzagging stem and large, shield-shaped leaves.

This is a tricky weed to manage. Consider reaching out to your local Soil & Water Conservation District for technical advice.

Location

One small plant in the hedgerow between the path and the freeway, roughly halfway between Sylvan and Camelot Ct. I did not see any others around.
