Description of specimen

There are some very large carp (12-24+”) looking fish that have been growing in population in this very small pond that has outlets into the Willamette. What I find strange is these fish seem to swim in groups of 2-3 individuals and love to swim near the top even during the heat of the day. This is also a very dirty and overgrown pond with a lot of vegetation and large duck and geese population with a few houses on the backside. The fish also seem to like to only eat bird droppings, things that fall in the water and I’ve seen multiple people fish for them and they are never interested and often spooked. They seem to be a household pet that was released into this “pond” that are quickly multiplying with 20+ individuals.
