Description of specimen

There is an infestation of giant knotweed along the eastern border of the property. At first, I thought it was Japanese knotweed, but the leaves are extremely large (~12+ inches) and the plant itself has grown to reach 10+ feet in height. The plant is currently in bloom.

Location

This is a vacant lot at the NE corner of the intersection of SE Milwaukie Ave. & SE Pardee St. A house was demolished on the lot approximately a year ago and it has been left vacant since. The property is fenced. There are many invasive species throughout the property but the one I'm reporting is present along the eastern border of the lot.
