Description of specimen
Adult, quite alert, demonstrating foraging-behavior in backyard. Held it to examine. Took video and extracted stills from that.
thank you or the video and pictures of this long-horned beetle. Luckily, it is NOT the invasive Asian long-horned beetle, but it is the native Oregon white-spotted sawyer Monochamus scutellatus. Thank you for keeping an eye out for invasive pests.
