Location
Lythrum salicaria (purple loosestrife) - Single plant (I think, hard to tell at freeway speeds) with multiple, upright flowering stems. Bright purple in color. Located on the north side of Hwy 26, about 100 meters beyond the merge of the westbound onramp from 185th Avenue (heading towards Cornelius Pass Rd), merging onto Hwy 26, on the north side of the highway rail barrier. Surrounded by weedy grasses, and perhaps a highway wildflower mix from recent road construction.
