Wasp (unknown species) (suborder Apocrita) on Sep 26, 2008
Submitter has sample
Description of specimen
We have a small black & yellow striped bee of some sort.
Commentary
Nancy, without a specimen in hand, it is not possible to provide positive identification of the insect. However, the staff at the OSU insect identification lab stated that given the aggressive nature of the insect, they believe it was likely a wasp.
