Description of specimen

I saw several patches of knotweed along the Wilson River when I stayed at Elk Creek Campground. Doesn't seem like a lot along the Wilson yet? At least it's not everywhere yet.

Commentary

Chris,
Thanks for the report! Unfortunately, the Wilson is heavily infested with Japanese Knotweed. I've observed it from the mouth to up near milepost 23. Due to funding constraints, we do not have an "all-inclusive" control project on the Wilson at this time. We are working with a few landowners between Mills Bridge and Sollie Smith. Plans to address the Wilson on a broader scale are currently in the works!

Thanks again!
