Description of specimen

Typical English Ivy is located on the forest floor and climbing into trees (Doublas fir, etc.) in several areas of Zumwalt Park. The noxious weed is located in many areas and is easily observed along the road and trails of the south end of the park. Photos or specimens can be provided if needed.

Commentary

I would be willing to lead or participate in a clean-up effort at this site. Any information on how I can help will be welcomed.

Thank you for your submission: As you know English ivy is a widespread invasive throughout western Oregon. If you are interested in helping with or organizing an ivy pull I would suggest contacting the park manager to see what options there might be.
