Dear Christine,

Thanks for reporting this population of parrot feather. I will forward this report to the OSU Extension agent in Tillamook who is the lead for receiving and processing these reports. He will evaluate the location and determine who is responsible for controlling that particular infestation. Parrot feather is not uncommon different areas of the coast, so it is possible that patch will not be prioritized for control. However, please don’t be discouraged. Your efforts are extremely valuable as more information about its distribution will improve our database and planning efforts.

Thanks again,
