Description of specimen

I am most familiar with diffuse and spotted knapweed, which I find in north central Washington. This resembles them but feels a little more squat, and the flower heads perhaps a bit bigger, the plant on the whole a bit greener. There was quite a bit of it right along the edge of the road.
