Description of specimen

Plants are along about a 500 foot stretch on the north side of the Trask River Road. A specimen was taken to the EDRR training in Tillamook on August 1, 2008 for positive identification.

Hi Chris!

Thanks for reporting Policeman's helmet to the website. Examples of this plant taking over Tillamook raises the alarm for the rest of the state. However, I am not sure there is much hope for eradication or control in the Tillamook area? We need to be alert of this species in priority conservation areas, at least. Let me know if you think this report should be forwarded to anyone in particular for more follow-up.
