Description of specimen
Large colony of gooseneck barnacles on two different logs that have washed ashore. The gulls love to eat them. Many of the dead Ones were scattered at the low tide line.
This sighting was on Manzanita Beach. If you approach the beach from town, you have to walk south about .25 miles. Same as I saw the day before. Gooseneck barnacles. There were many many more on two different logs. The gills seem to enjoy eating them.
