Description of specimen
multiple specimens in riparian area on property border
Commentary
Yes, this is Japanese (or Bohemian) knotweed. It is very difficult to eradicate without the use of plant specific and otherwise very safe herbicides. Some people have found limited success with continued digging of the large underground material. We treat several sites around the county in the late summer, If you want let us know the location and we will add it to the list for treatment.
