Description of specimen

It looks like a species of bee. I could not identify it using Oregon bee charts so I thought I’d send to you. It has a furry head and thorax but a smooth, dark abdomen.

Commentary

It is a native bee, would need a specimen to confirm which species. Oregon has over 500 species of bees so not all would be listed on your bee chart.
